Bill Green is more than a recognizable face in Charleston; he’s a trusted name in personal injury law across the Lowcountry. Known for his memorable television appearances and catchy slogans, Bill has built a reputation not on marketing alone, but on decades of dedicated legal service and an unwavering commitment to client care.
What truly sets Bill apart is his belief that legal representation should be grounded in empathy, transparency, and a client-first mindset. “It’s important to be able to empathize and relate to clients,” he explains. “That’s something we do very well, and we take pride in it.”
Bill’s journey in law began at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he earned both his undergraduate degree in 1985 and his law degree in 1987. After law school, he entered the insurance industry as a broker in Burlington, North Carolina. That early experience gave him valuable insight into the insurance side of injury claims, a perspective that continues to benefit his clients to this day.
His move to Charleston was initially tied to his work in insurance. But his passion for the law soon led him back to legal practice. After gaining experience as a partner in a general practice firm on James Island, Bill opened his own personal injury practice on King Street in downtown Charleston in 1991.
As his client base grew, so did the firm. In 1997, Bill expanded into Columbia, South Carolina, and relocated the Charleston office to its current home in North Charleston, making legal help more accessible to even more people throughout the region.
From the beginning, Bill has run his firm with the same principles that guide any great business: exceptional service, genuine care, and consistent results. He built a team that reflects those values, professionals who show up every day ready to advocate, problem-solve, and make a difference. “We come to work every day and have fun,” says Bill. “We know why we’re here, what we’re doing, and we’re proud of it.”
Today, Bill resides in Charleston with his wife. He is the proud father of four children and an even prouder grandfather of seven. While his family keeps him grounded, his practice continues to evolve, always focused on helping real people through some of the most difficult moments in their lives.
