Tyler DeRosa was born in Charlotte, NC, and it was immediately apparent that he was going to be an attorney. Tyler argued everything his entire life. Tyler grew up playing sports and telling jokes, two traits that are apparent when Tyler is out of the office.
He went to The University of South Carolina for undergrad earning a degree in Public Relations and loved it so much that he decided to stay at USC for 3 more years in law school. Tyler had lived in Columbia for so long he decided it was home and chose to stay in the city he had fallen in love with. Tyler loves Columbia’s restaurants, events, but most importantly the people.
Tyler learned a motto in high school that says, “If you’re going to be a bear, be a Grizzly.” Which essentially means if you’re going to set out to do something, you should set out to be the best at that something. Tyler set out to be an attorney and strives every day to be the best attorney he can be in the city he loves representing the people he loves.
