Tyler DeRosa

Tyler DeRosa is a Charlotte-native turned University of South Carolina Gamecock (undergraduate and law school), devoted husband, proud dad of two energetic kids. When I’m not advocating for clients or crafting the next big legal strategy, you’ll find me chasing family adventures, collecting Funko Pops, or hunting down the most mouthwatering cuts of meat around.

My Journey

I embarked on my academic path at the University of South Carolina, earning my bachelor’s degree in 2017 and then my Juris Doctor in 2020. Those years were filled with late-night study sessions, spirited campus debates, and a lot of campus tailgating—because life (and law school) is better with a little Gamecock spirit.
After graduation, I remained in Columbia to practice law. Over the years, I’ve helped individuals navigate complex legal waters, all while maintaining a client-first philosophy: listen carefully, communicate clearly, and fight passionately.

When I’m Not Practicing Law

Family First: My loving wife and our two kids are my biggest supporters. Weekends are for backyard barbecues, spontaneous lake trips, and teaching the little ones the fine art of marshmallow roasting. My wife’s family lives up north, so I’ve become a semi-pro at packing the truck, planning highway playlists, and sampling every Michigan specialty—from Coney Islands to Big Boy.

I thrive on connection—whether it’s building trust in the courtroom or sharing laughter around the dinner table. Every case reminds me that real people with real dreams are counting on me.
